J. M Orphanage is located at #26, III Main, Shamanna Gowda Layout, Halasuru, Bangalore – 8 is a charitable organization duly registered under a Trust Deed (No 128/2008 – 09) as well as declared by the Income Tax Department as a “Charitable Institute” under section 12 Aa and Section 80G.
The Institute is dedicated for the cause of giving a new hope, life and future for Orphans, destitute and single parent children. It is registered with the Women and Child Department, Government of Karnataka (No.KA180013WZ2X). J.M Orphanage was founded in 2011 in Bangalore to up-bring destitute and abandoned children into a safe, stable and loving environment.
Distinctive about J. M Orphanage-
Every child at the home is recognized as an individual with unique gifts and talents. The four staff members who live with the children know their backgrounds and work to nurture their potentials. Each child receives individual counselling and care. Whether it is artistic talent or academic pursuits, each child is given the opportunity to grow. Students are sent for higher education in Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer training, Nursing, Teacher Training etc…. Others are encouraged to take on vocational training courses. All this culminates in job placements that make them self-reliant.
The institution is currently in a rented building, finding difficult to meet the needs of day-to-day activities, as there is no proper source of income.
